What you are buying
An image-led mobile companion app, polished and easy to pick up. Character creation is guided, visuals arrive fast, and the product has cleaned up considerably since launch. One reviewer even grants it better model quality than its positioning suggests.
That is not where the problem is.
The paywall, and it is everywhere
This is the unanimous complaint across the specialist press in 2026, and it is put bluntly. The harshest verdict we found across every app we tested: “an app built to extract money rather than to keep you company”.
In detail:
- The paywall shows up fast, especially the moment you want adult content or any real plot.
- The free experience is throttled by the end of the first session.
- Anything beyond a quick trial triggers a purchase of credits, tokens or a subscription.
The Neuron system
That is the name of the in-house token economy, and it is the exact mechanism behind everything above. It requires you to manage your wallet carefully, which is a polite way of saying you will spend time doing arithmetic instead of talking.
The reference price: $18.99 a month as of April 2026, slightly less on annual billing.
Adult content
Available, but every slightly explicit step triggers a paywall. The app shows you a glimpse then charges, and the prompts get harder the more invested you are. This is not censorship, it is rationing, and it irritates more than an honest filter would.
Memory
Officially “limited”, and the wording is fair. Fine within a single thread, immature the moment it has to carry anything from one thread to the next.
Verdict
Worth considering only for image generation natively on mobile, and only if you know exactly how much you are willing to spend. On conversation, everything above it in this ranking does better.
