Ranked #24
Kupid AI
The most convincing voice on the market, sold by the week to hide the bill.
What we liked
- +The most natural voice messages in the ranking
- +Photorealistic NSFW images, generated without hedging
- +Free tier with no credit card, enough to judge the voice
What we did not
- −Weekly billing: EUR 12.99 a week, roughly EUR 675 a year
- −Memory advertised by the operator itself as the last 30 messages (100 on Ultra)
- −Everything runs on weekly quotas: photos, videos, voice minutes
- −Permanent fake urgency: an Easter promotion displayed in August
- −Around twenty characters, against 80 and more elsewhere
What is genuinely good
The voice. Kupid’s voice messages are the most believable we have heard in this market: pacing, breathing, hesitation. If that is what you came for, the product delivers. NSFW image generation is also up to standard, photorealistic and free of moralising detours.
The real price, read off their subscription page
There is no monthly plan. The three billing cycles offered are weekly, annual and lifetime. That is the heart of the problem.
| Plan | Displayed | Real cost |
|---|---|---|
| Pro, weekly | EUR 12.99/week | about EUR 675/yr |
| Pro, annual | EUR 3.44/week | about EUR 179/yr, or EUR 14.90/mo |
| Ultra, annual | EUR 5.75/week | EUR 299 in one payment |
The weekly price costs nearly four times the annual price for the same product. The selector opens on weekly, which shows the smallest number on screen. If you take Kupid, take the annual plan or take nothing.
One detail that says a lot about the house: on 3 August, the banner advertised an “Easter promotion, -75%”, complete with countdown. The discount is permanent, the urgency is decoration.
Memory, as advertised by the operator
This is not a tester’s complaint, it is written in their own plan comparison table: the companion remembers the last 30 messages on Pro, the last 100 on Ultra. In other words there is no long-term memory at all, only a context window.
That explains the user reports of an AI losing the thread mid-scene. It is not a bug, it is the product.
Everything runs on weekly quotas
On Pro: 25 photos, 8 videos and 12 minutes of voice per week. On Ultra: 75 photos, 25 videos, 35 minutes. The number of characters you can create is capped too, at 4 on Pro and 8 on Ultra. The free tier stops at 15 messages, enough to judge the voice and nothing else.
Privacy
Operator: SNB Technologies LTD, Nicosia, Cyprus. Discreet billing is advertised, but there is no public information on how conversations are retained or whether they are used for training. That is the sector norm, which does not make it reassuring.
Verdict
Good voice product, bad shopkeeper. Last in the ranking because of price and memory, not technical quality. If voice is your criterion and you take the annual plan, Kupid holds up. For everything else, Nastia AI gives you more for less, and Candy.ai makes better images.
