AI girlfriend without sign-up: what actually works in 2026
Which apps really let you chat with no account, which just mean 'no credit card', and what you give up by staying a guest. Tested app by app.

“No sign-up” gets used loosely here, and it covers three completely different products.
One: you open the site and type, no email, no account. Two: a free account with no credit card, which is the honest version of “free” and most of what this market sells. Three: a login wall dressed up as a preview, where you can read a character’s opening line and nothing else. Same headline, three experiences.
In short
- SpicyChat AI: the only genuine anonymous chat here, capped harder than a free account, and nothing is saved.
- JuicyChat AI: you read the opening line, the message box stays locked until you sign up.
- Character.AI: since April 2026, signup runs a face scan. Anonymous testing is over there.
- Nastia AI: a free tier with no credit card, from an operator with a public address.
- No app keeps memory without an account. Guest sessions reset, by design.
The three things “no sign-up” can mean
Get this straight before you click anything, because it decides what you can actually test.
Anonymous chat. No email, no password, no account. It exists, but it is rare and it is throttled. SpicyChat AI tells you so itself, in a banner above the first message: you are capped harder than a free account, and nothing you type is saved.
A free tier with no card. You hand over an email, you get a real allowance, you pay nothing. This is what most apps mean when they say free, and it is not a bad deal: SpicyChat, CrushOn AI, Nastia AI, Promptchan and Lovescape all sign you up without payment details.
A preview that ends at the message box. JuicyChat AI is the clean example. Open any character, read their scripted intro, then try to type: a login wall drops in front of the composer, offering Google, Apple, Discord, Yandex or email. Nothing in the conversation is watered down for guests. It simply never starts.
What you lose by staying a guest
Memory. All of it, on every app.
A guest session lives in your browser, not on a server tied to an identity. Clear cookies, close the tab, switch device, and the character resets. You are not talking to a companion who remembers you, you are talking to one that starts from zero every time.
That is the trade, stated plainly: zero commitment, zero continuity. It is enough to judge a writing style, a personality, the speed of a reply, whether the model refuses things. It is useless for the thing most people actually want, which is something that builds over weeks.
Worth adding one line of lucidity here, since anonymity tends to be where people relax: a companion that greets you warmly after a week away is running a retrieval query, not missing you. That is true with an account and without one.
SpicyChat AI: the one that genuinely lets you in

Open the site, pick from roughly 300,000 community-published characters, start typing. No login screen in the way. Adult content is live from signup with no toggle buried in a settings menu, and the text side has no filter to argue with.
Two precisions the marketing skips, and they matter.
The anonymous preview is not the free tier. The platform’s own banner says you are more limited as a guest and that nothing you type gets saved. The 100 messages a day figure you will read everywhere describes the free tier once you have created an account, and it counts the character’s replies as well as yours: budget for about 50 real exchanges before the day closes. That ceiling came down twice, from 2,000 a day in earlier years to 150 in late 2025, then 100 in early 2026. Reviews still calling it unlimited have not hit the wall.
The other precision: flipping the NSFW toggle on the browse page while logged out throws up a “Create Free Account” prompt rather than quietly filtering. So you can chat anonymously, but the explicit catalogue asks for an email first. No card, still.
Where the wall actually drops, app by app

JuicyChat AI lets you browse and read, then locks the composer. Its standalone image generator is open to guests too, which sounds generous until you look at the balance: it starts at 0 and a single generation costs 30. You can walk the entire interface and never render anything.
Character.AI used to be the default answer to this question. It is not anymore. Since April 2026, age verification runs through a face scan at signup, on top of daily caps and ads added in March. Whatever guest access remains, the door now asks for your face.
Nemora goes further in the other direction: as a visitor without an account, its own pricing page bounces you to a signup wall, the redirect literally reading ?signUp=ON_RESTRICTED_ROUTE_ENTER. You cannot compare plans before creating an account. JuicyChat does the same with its pricing page.
Candy.ai and Lovescape are the ordinary pattern: no payment details required, but a free account before you chat at all. That is a real free tier, and a reasonable one. It is not a no-signup experience.
| App | Chat without an account | Free tier, no card | What the wall is |
|---|---|---|---|
| SpicyChat AI | Yes, capped harder, nothing saved | Yes, ~100 messages/day | The NSFW toggle asks for an account |
| JuicyChat AI | Read only | Yes | The message box |
| Character.AI | No | Yes, with ads and caps | Face scan at signup |
| Nastia AI | No | Yes, no credit card | Account, then tier limits |
| Candy.ai | No | Yes, limited images | Account before the first message |
| Nemora | No | Yes, images blurred | Pricing page itself |
The privacy instinct is right, the conclusion often is not
Skipping the email field is usually about privacy, and that instinct is sound. The reasoning after it tends to be sloppy.
A guest session is not invisible. The app still logs your IP address and device fingerprint, and everything you type is still processed on the operator’s servers, account or not. You removed one data point out of several.
And the opposite case is stronger than it looks. In October 2025, two companion apps, Chattee Chat and GiMe Chat, leaked roughly 43 million intimate messages and 600,000 photos from more than 400,000 users. An account with a real password and two-factor authentication is harder to compromise than a session secured by nothing at all. “No account” does not remove the risk, it moves it to the server side, where you control nothing either way.
The question worth asking is not which app skips the email field. It is who the operator is, and what its policy says about training and retention. Our privacy checklist runs through that audit clause by clause.
If privacy is the real reason, look at the operator
Nastia AI is the useful answer here, and it has nothing to do with skipping signup. It is run by a French company, Nastia Cybernetics, registration number 982046385, with the name readable at the bottom of its own homepage. Signup takes no credit card, and it is the one app we have tested that offers an export of your conversations.
Set that against the norm in this category: Cypriot LTDs, Romanian holdings, and operators declaring no country at all. When the most intimate conversation you have had all year sits with a shell company, your recourse after a breach is theoretical.
Two more with a checkable address: FlirtCam is registered in Slovakia (DevPro s.r.o., Nitra), and Candy.ai is operated by EverAI Limited in Malta, with a company number and a real address rather than a country name on a terms page.
One honest caveat on Nastia’s free tier: the operator’s FAQ says the explicit register is open without paying, while in practice intimate chat sits alongside images, video and voice on the paid plans. We have not settled it. Ten minutes without a credit card will.
How to test an app properly without paying
Four things, in this order, and none of them need a card.
- Push the register in the first ten messages. You find out immediately whether the model refuses, hedges, or follows. That is the fastest disqualifier there is.
- Check what is blurred. Several apps that call themselves uncensored show you a masked image and charge to reveal it. Nemora blurs on the free tier, Lovescape lists blur removal in what tokens are spent on.
- Plant a detail, then leave. Come back in a week, not the next day. A same-day return makes almost any app look attentive.
- Read the cancellation page before the pricing page. If you cannot find either without an account, that tells you something on its own.
Straight answers to what you are typing
Is there a genuinely free AI girlfriend with no account? SpicyChat AI is the one that genuinely opens without a login, with a harder cap and nothing saved. Everything else asks for an email.
Can I use it without a credit card? Yes, widely. SpicyChat, CrushOn AI, Nastia AI, Promptchan and Lovescape all sign you up with no payment details. Free does not mean unmetered: CrushOn gives 50 messages a day with ads, and Lovescape publishes none of its free-tier ceilings at all.
Will it remember me? Not as a guest, ever. With an account, it depends entirely on the app, and the gap is enormous. Our memory comparison tested six of them over four days.
Can I get adult content without signing up? Barely. SpicyChat’s own NSFW toggle asks for a free account, and apps like Nemora and FlirtCam keep the free tier deliberately tame, blurred images included, so you cannot judge what you are buying before you pay.
The bottom line
For real anonymous chat, SpicyChat AI, knowing the guest session is throttled and saves nothing. For a preview of writing quality before you commit an email, JuicyChat AI shows you the opening line for free.
For anything you want to keep past one session, an account is unavoidable across the whole market, which makes the sign-up question the wrong one. The better question is whose servers you are comfortable leaving this on, and there Nastia AI, with an identifiable operator, no card at signup and an export button, answers it better than a missing email field ever will. Test it for an evening before you decide.
